After reading Chapters 4, 5 and 6 and the the New York Times Article and the Videos for Review answer the following questions:
- What are the issues surrounding processing and incarcerating women and girls through the Criminal Justice System?
- Why do young females choose to join gangs?
- Based on the readings regarding the nature of female offending, do you think it is important that girls and women receive treatment that is geared toward their unique problems?
